1. Be able to draw on a cartoon, or imagine in your "mind's eye"
the location of the primary sensory and primary motor areas, the limbic
cortex and the general extent of the cortical association areas.
2. Have clearly in mind the differences between the major forebrain
fiber systems: association, commissural and projection.
3. Define the sensory and motor homunculi and be able to locate their
subcomponents on the cerebral cortex.
4. Recognize the basic features of the horizontal and vertical organization
of the cerebral cortex.
